Dirty

I used to use a dry cleaner
But now my clothes are in a pile
I used to care about things
But I haven’t for awhile

If I clean things up
Can I get a break?
Asking someone to help
Can be a mistake

I used to be this person
Who had the world in the palm of my hands?
Or at least I had a corner of it
And now I don’t even dry clean
And I really don’t give a shit

Things are gonna be dirty for awhile
And there’s nothing I can do
Living with filth and grime and grit
Is something I’m gonna have to go through
I wish there was something I could do….but…..
